Blog Anniversary

One year ago yesterday was the birth of “Emerald Lane” the blog.  Throughout the year I have shared moments from our life as a family in our new home in the country.  We have acquired new animals, the boys have played in the dirt and pretended to be pirates, I have made a few handmade things and Jay has built homes for the chickens and turned his piles.

As a little gift for reading and staying in touch I want to give away a little creation.  So, write a little comment about why you read this blog and I’ll draw a name and send that special person a little something, not sure what yet, but it will be handmade by me!

Thanks for reading and here’s to another year ahead!

Happy (belated) Blogiversary! I love reading your blog because your words and pictures are inspiring and I get real joy seeing how you and your family are making the most of the simple, but wonderful things in “rural” living 😉

I also can’t resist ogling your crafty creations!

Wow, give something away and look at all the people who write.(o: I love to read and look at your blog for two reasons. I love to see my nephew, niece, and two grand-nephews and keep up on their lives. I also live vicariously in the country via your blog, since I actually now live in the heart of the city of Newark.
    Love you, Aunt Ruth

    Hi Nancy!
Wow, a year since your Emerald Lane Blog began…and a year since Matt & I began our adventure to live in Northern Arizona. As I have shared with you before, we really enjoy your blog & keeping up on what is new with you & family not to mention to see your latest crafty creations! I must confess… I am beginning to think Matt is wondering when I’m going to do something with all the projects I keep getting supplies for. 🙂 Your creative craftiness certainly has been inspiring. Thank you for taking the time to share your life, thoughts, and creations on your blog! It is so nice to be connected this way. Hope you & Erin are doing wonderfully! I’ve got an idea for something creative to add to her ‘baby girl’ nursery supplies…. 🙂 Take Care & God Bless!!

Has it been that long already?! I read your blog to keep in touch, despite the fact that we live right next door to each other. It is a fun way to share those moments with you 🙂

Hello Mrs. Nancy!! So how are you feeling these days? Congrats on blogging for one year! I’ve enjoyed reading your messages and looking at pictures of your family and all of the cool stuff you make. It has been a nice way for me to keep intouch with you and your family(especially when I lived in Alaska!). I check your blog everyday and I look forward to reading it for another year! Love ya!!
